WAGS next monthly meeting is August 7, 2012 featuring Ned Irwin who will speak on the Washington County Archives.   He will give us an update on what is happening with the archives and how you can help.  

Annual Picnic:
Watauga Association of Genealogists will hold their next monthly meeting on July 10, 2012, 6:00pm.  This meeting will be held at George and Margaret Holley’s Museum located on Denny Mill Road.  Find your way to the Holley’s home at 1069 W. Oakland Ave. in Johnson City, then continue driving up the road beyond the Holley’s home and turn right on to Denny Mill Rd.  The entrance to the museum grounds will be on your right.   Please bring a covered dish to share at the dinner.

Now available for purchase on the WAGS website  DVD’s covering Volumes 1 through 20 of published WAGS Bulletins.  Available as 2 DVD’s, each DVD includes ten years of Bulletins.  If you were never able to complete your Bulletin collection because the printed version was  “SOLD OUT” here is your chance to have them all.
Price:  $15.00 EACH DVD, with $5.00 minimum shipping / handling charge.
